Evelyn served the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and its community for nine years with dedication, kindness, and compassion. Her welcoming smile and genuine warmth made colleagues, students, simulated patients, and visitors feel comfortable, respected, and valued.
In her role as a Clinical Skills Training Specialist, Evelyn played an instrumental part in supporting clinical skills teaching and simulation-based education. She recruited and coordinated simulated patients, prepared them for their roles, and helped ensure that clinical scenarios were portrayed accurately and effectively. Her creativity and attention to detail—particularly her skill in applying simulation makeup and moulage—brought realism to clinical encounters and greatly enhanced students’ learning experiences.
Dependable and cooperative, Evelyn was always willing to assist and regularly went the extra mile to support others. Her patience, understanding, and commitment to students made a meaningful difference in their academic journeys and practical training.
More than a valued colleague, Evelyn was a caring person whose positive spirit and willingness to help left a lasting impression on the CMHS community. Her contributions to clinical education, and the warmth she brought to the College, will be fondly remembered.
